Dizengoff Center
Since 1977, the Dizengoff Center Shopping Mall has served as one of Tel Aviv’s largest and most popular shopping malls. Set directly in the center of the city, on the corner of King George and Dizengoff Streets, this massive building offers shopping and dining options. Israeli brand names such as Michal Negrin, Castro (the flag store), Steimatzky Bookstore and Opticana Glasses to international brands such as Zara, Mango and Golf, everyone will find something to suit their style at the Dizengoff Center Shopping Mall.
The mall features a wide variety of fast food options, a large grocery store, and a variety of coffee shops. All of Israel’s major banks have branches within the mall, as do the three primary phone companies. Movie theaters, a large parking garage, two fitness clubs, a children’s Gymboree and an emergency veterinariay service all find their homes within the Dizengoff Center Shopping Mall.
The mall also hosts weekly and special events. Every Thursday and Friday, the Dizengoff Center Shopping Mall hosts a Designers’ Boutique with local fashion designers displaying and selling their wares. A food fair serving a wide variety of international and local foods is also open towards the end of the week. Other special events include a Healthy Lifestyle Fair, cooking workshops, workshops for children and activities to raise awareness about local issues.
