Eretz Israel Museum Complex (Haaretz Museum)
The Eretz Israel Museum Complex (Haaretz Museum) is a complex of different sized buildings, exhibits, pavilions and archaeological findings, each dedicated to different aspects of Israel's history, culture, folklore and religion.
The Eretz Israel Museum Complex (Haaretz Museum) houses the Yael Garden with a bird mosaic uncovered in Beit Guvrin, a Mosaic Square boasting an assortment of hand crafted mosaic floors taken from archaeological sites around Israel including from the Tel Qasile archaeological excavations. A planetarium offering multimedia shows in Hebrew is also on the museum complex.
The Eretz Israel Museum Complex (Haaretz Museum) is open Sunday through Wednesday from 10 am until 4 pm. On Thursday, closing time is 8 pm; on Friday and Saturday the museum complex closes at 2 pm. The museum complex is located in Tel Aviv, close to the Tel Aviv University, the Palmach Museum, Seminar HaKibbutzim and Hayarkon Park. Within the vast complex of the Eretz Israel Museum Complex (Haaretz Museum), visitors will also find a museum shop and a café. It is easily accessible by public transportation.
