Hof Hatzuk
Hof Hatzuk, or Cliff Beach, is the northern most beach in Tel Aviv, bordering Herzliya’s stretch of clean and quiet sands.
Hof Hatzuk is known for being one of the city’s quietest and cleanest beaches.
It features public bathrooms, volleyball nets, exercise facilities, wooden gazebos for shade, a children’s playground, lifeguard station, grassy patches, umbrellas and lounge chairs. There are two café restaurants at Hof Hatzuk. The two parking lots adjacent to Hof Hatzuk provide free visitor parking. Hof Hatzuk also features sections of the water specifically designated for surfing, windsurfing and kayaking. It is a favored spot for families, water sport enthusiasts and local teens coming from Ramat Aviv.
Hof Hatzuk is not accessible for bathers arriving on foot and therefore is much less crowded than many of Tel Aviv’s other stretches of beach. It is home to occasional evening concerts and summer time events put on by the city of Tel Aviv.
Entrance to this section of the beach requires payment for all bathers (13 shekel for adults and 8 shekels for children under 13). There are two entrances to Hof Hatzuk: the northern entrance is adjacent to a local hotel entrance and the southern entrance is alongside the Sea and Sun residential complex.
