The New City of Jerusalem
The New City of Jerusalem is home to more than 800,000 people - Jews, Muslims, Christians. It is Israel's official capital.

The Holocaust Memorial – Yad Vashem - offers a comprehensive monument to the millions of Jews who were slaughtered during the Second World War. The Museum’s aim is to record and memorialize the Holocaust as well as being a center for continuing research and education.
The Israel Museum with its magnificent exhibits covering diverse fields from archaeology and modern day art. The celebrated Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in caves in the Judean desert in 1947 dating from the 3rd century AD and up to the 1st century BC are just one of these amazing exhibits.
The new Supreme Court building and Mount Herzl where one can visit the grave of Yitzchak Rabin, the Israeli Prime Minister, who was assassinated in Tel Aviv in 1995.
All branches of the Israeli government are located in Jerusalem, including the Knesset, Israel's parliament, the residences of the Prime Minister and the President.
The New City of Jerusalem is home to the Hebrew University, Israel's second oldest university and the Hadassah Hospital.
