Ramat Hachayal Business District
The Ramat Hachayal Business District is one of Tel Aviv's premier hi tech areas. Some of the companies located on Habarzel and Raul Wallenberg Streets – the main roads of the Ramat Hachayal Business District, include IBM, Comverse, PPD, SICK Sensor Intelligence, Gamatronic and Green Vision.
Since the recent boom of hi tech within the north Tel Aviv neighborhood in 2004, the Ramat Hachayal Business District has become filled with restaurants, cafes and commercial spaces to suit the needs of its business residents. The Leonardo Boutique Hotel recently opened its doors as a business hotel catering for international business clientele located in the Ramat Hachayal Business District. Additionally, a large variety of chef restaurants, Israel's most popular chain restaurants and fast food restaurants can be found in the Ramat Hachayal Business District. Max Brenner, Black Bar and Burger, Sushi Samba, McDonalds, Joya and Segev Express – just to name a few. The Ramat Hachayal Business District is a popular spot on nights and weekends for local Tel Aviv residents. Many bars and dance clubs, like the Zappa Club which hosts live music, have opened in the area as well.
The Assouta Medical Center, the largest private medical facility in Israel, is located in the Ramat Hachayal Business District. The Herzliya Gynmasium, one of Israel's oldest and most prestigious high schools, is also located in the residential neighborhood surrounding the Ramat Hachayal Business District. Park Hayarkon extends up to the edge of the Ramat Hachayal Business District, providing beautiful green spaces, hiking and biking trails and an ideal pathway for workers interested in using green transportation alternatives to get to work.
