The Allegra Boutique Hotel Jerusalem is named after Alegra Bello, a Jewish girl, who fell in love with an Arab boy in the late 1920s. Only in 1930 did they build this house. Today, following extensive renovations, the house is called the Alegra Boutique Hotel. Each of the seven suites is decorated to tell a different love story and offers personal service and exclusive amenities. The hotel is surrounded by an orchard and the views from the rooftop are of Ein Karem and the Judean Mountains. The Chef restaurant serves special meals with fresh produce bought from the nearby market.
