Map

Jaffa has a long history of more than 3,000 years and for many years its ancient harbor was the entrance to the Holy Land.

One of Jaffa&rsquos most famous streets is named Margoza Yehuda Street, hence the name of the hotel.  Ragusa was the original name of the city now named Dubrovnik in Croatia, and Yehuda Halevi was a Jew who emigrated from Croatia to Israel at the end of the 19th Century. The building was erected on the site which was once an orchard and a reminder of this can be seen on the patio which leads to the hotel entrance where citrus trees were planted.
