Traveling north of Tel Aviv, the first stop is the ancient Roman port of Caesarea and the Caesarea National Park. Drive north through the coastal City of Nahariya founded in the 1930's by German Jewish immigrants and on to Rosh Hanikra. Walk through the limestone grottos with the Lebanese border just meters away. On the way back, stop at the Old City of Acre with its Crusader and Turkish underground city and crypt, the oriental market, the Khan and listen to stories about Napoleon Bonaparte and the Israeli underground movements.
